Playing a DVD file structure is simple on a Windows PC as many players support the full DVD format. And I was concerned loosing the other DVD extras like subtitles and multiple audio streams/languages. I was never keen on converting them into any other format as I always wanted from time to time to burn them again onto a DVD. with their AUDIO_TS/VIDEO_TS structure IFO and VOB files.

Can I get WHS/WMC to play vob? If not what upnp-server streams vob-files supporting DVD-structure.In the last couple of months I have put more and more DVDs in their original structure on my Windows Home Server, i.e. I dont want to convert all the vob's to avi. The VOB-playing shoult look like DVD-playing meaning that I should be able to change language and subtitles ( I live in Denmark). What I want to do is quite simple ( I think), but I can not figure out how to. Tvix support states that XMBC does not support DVD-structure therefore I can not navigate using their remote control.

I can see from some posts in here that WHS does not support VOB-files and that explains why I can not see them on my tvix-player using WHC. Actually the wholde folder containng vob-files are hidden. The mediaplayer is a TVIX 6600 but when i try to locate the vob-files I can not see them. The files are placed in the shared videos folder.

The movies are ripped into video_ts folder in vob-files. Hi, I have a problem when playing ripped DVD-movies.
